SHIPPING Shipping Policies All orders are shipped discreetly with your privacy in mind in a plain brown or white box with “Shoes by EHH”, “EHH on Amazon.com”, “Pleaser USA” or “Ellie Shoes” on the return label. While some orders may be processed and shipped within a 24 hour timeframe, the majority of orders are processed and shipped within a 1-2 day timeframe, Monday – Friday. Orders placed after 2pm PST are considered received the following business day. We do not guarantee any shipping date. Our fulfillment department is located in Southern California, and your delivery time will vary by location. Tracking numbers will be sent to you via e-mail once your order ships and you may track your packages at www.usps.com or www.ups.com Most orders (including International and APO/FPO) will be shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS). We have discovered that USPS provides 2-3 day Priority Shipping to most locations within the United States at a lower cost and reduced shipping times when compared to UPS or Federal Express. Overnight and 2nd Day shipping may be shipped USPS or by UPS. To insure our prices are among the lowest offered on the Internet, we charge shipping costs based on weight, location and shipping speed. We prefer to keep your overall cost much lower rather than ‘pad’ the shipping into the price. Undeliverable Packages Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a refund minus the shipping charges. Please be sure to carefully check your shipping address to insure it is valid for USPS delivery. We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our Web site. Shipping to Apartments We will be glad to ship to all apartments (and hotels for previous customers). Please note that at our discretion, we may send your package as SIGNATURE REQUIRED. This is to reduce theft and/or mis-delivered packages at apartment complexes. Refused Shipments All refused shipments will result in 20% restocking charge plus shipping cost occurred, which includes any customs fees, taxes or duties that may apply to International orders APO/FPO We ship all APO/FPO packages Priority Service through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and would like to personally thank you for serving our great country. International Shipping We ship all international packages Express Mail through USPS (where allowed). At this time, we are unable to ship to Africa or Brazil. Please be advised that once an international package has left the United States, it may take 1-4 weeks for delivery due to customs and other factors. USPS may transfer the delivery function to a different courier within your country. International orders will be delayed or cancelled should an unverified billing address be provided. We do not ship packages to different countries other than where your billing address is located unless you are a previous customer or fax us proof of your billing statement. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT MERCHANDISE Damaged or incorrect merchandise MUST be reported within 5 days of arrival and is the responsibility of the customer. We ship on a daily basis and update our inventory each day at midnight to make every effort to insure that the most up-to-date stock levels are displayed. On occasion, especially during our heaviest shipping times of September and October, an item may show as in-stock that is not currently available. You will be notified within 48-72 hours for ground orders, and within 24 hours for Overnight or 2nd Day Air should an item be temporarily out of stock. Any items marked as Discontinued or Close-Out have limited stock levels. The manufacturer has chosen to phase the shoe or boot out of the product line, and once our inventory has been sold-out, it will no longer be available. Once a size and/or color has been depleted, it will not be available in the future. Returns and Exchanges RETURNS AND EXCHANGES OF COSTUMES AND ACCESSORIES All Costumes and accessories are non-refundable AND only exchangeable within a 10 day timeframe prior to October 24th. Costume orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed, as they will be processed immediately. All exchanges of costumes must be postmarked before October 24th. We will not accept any exchanges of costumes postmarked after October 24th. All costumes ordered after October 24th are FINAL SALE with no returns or exchanges. We will gladly exchange your unworn costume for a different size or style or any non-Halloween related item from our on-line store prior to October 24th. Exchanged items must be of the same or higher value of the original item. If the requested exchange is not available, a different item must be chosen as the exchange. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES OF SHOES Exchanges We will provide one size exchange at no charge. You ship the shoes back to us, and we will pay for shipping the size exchange back to you. You may exchange unworn shoes within 30 days of purchase in two ways: 1. If you have time, send the shoes back in their original box (placed within a shipping box or wrapped in paper) within the 30 day period with the invoice and a note with the size or item you want to exchange it for. OR 2. If you do not have the time, place another order for the item that you want. Then, send the first item back within the 30 day period with the original invoice and a copy of your newly placed order. We will then refund you for ground shipping equivalent to the amount on your original order once we receive your returned shoes. Returns Shoe Returns must be received within 30 days of original invoice date for a refund (with exceptions listed below and does not apply to costumes or accessories which are NOT refundable). Shoe Returns received after 30 days may be refused or charged a restocking fee up to 40% at our discretion. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Processing time for returns is 7-14 days and you will be notified via e-mail that your return has been processed and the refund was issued to your credit card. Damaged, Defective or Missing Merchandise Damaged, defective or missing merchandise MUST be reported within 5 days of arrival. When Returning Shoes Place the shoes in their original shoe box, and place that box in a shipping box or wrap in paper for protection. Fill-out the Return information on your packing list that came with your order. If you did not receive a packing list with return information on it, please enclose a copy of your original invoice or order and ship to the address below. We must have your order number to process the return. We will NOT accept returns of items with obvious signs of use. Be sure to try on your new shoes on a carpeted surface to insure they fit to your satisfaction. Technical Shoe Information and Glossary Sizing We carry a huge selection of styles, some of which vary slightly in their sizing. If we know a shoe tends to run large or small, we'll add that information to the product description. We do not carry ½ sizes in any style at this time. Because we offer shoes for women, men and children, be sure to carefully check the description and size selection. To convert Women’s sizing to men’s, please add two sizes. For example, a Women’s US Size 10 would be the same as a Men’s US Size 8. The opposite is also true to convert Men’s US sizing – a Men’s US Size 8 would be the same as a Women’s US Size 10. Most of our shoes and boots are only available in whole sizes - order the next half size up if you are in between sizes. All of our sizing is in US sizing. Please see our Size Chart for international conversions. When purchasing open-toed high heels shoes, it is normally recommended to buy the same size you wear in a flat shoe. When buying closed-toe high heels, it is normal to purchase a ½ size larger than your normal flat shoe size. Since most of our heels are only available in whole sizes, please order the next largest size. If you generally wear a narrow and the shoe isn't offered in a narrow width, you may want go down a half size. If you generally wear a wide and the shoe isn't offered in a wider width, you may want to go a half size up to give the ball of your foot and your toes more space. Please note that these tips are taken from industry standards and should only be used as a guide for purchasing the proper size. Our manufacturer’s size conversion charts are displayed below. After You Receive Your Shoes Try your shoes on with the same socks or hosiery you plan to wear with them--this will add up to half a size depending on the thickness you prefer. Try on your shoes indoors on a carpeted surface--this will protect the soles of the shoes in case you need to return or exchange them. If they do not fit, exchange them for a difference size! What is the difference between Patent, PU, Stretch and Leather material? Patent (Pat), has a very shiny, almost mirror like appearance and is a man-made material. PU, short for polyurethane, is a semi-shiny to non-shiny (dull) man made material designed to look like leather. Stretch, either patent or PU, is a thin, stretchable material, which allows it to fit to the contours of the feet or legs. Leather, usually having a supple and comfortable feel and with a texture pattern, is considered by many to be the highest quality material of all used in shoemaking. How can I remove glue marks on the shoes? Use lighter fluid. Ordinary lighter fluid applied to a white rag will remover the glue. You can also use glue thinner which can be purchased from any shoe repair shop. How can I change batteries on light-up shoes? Peel up the silver sock lining material where the ball of the foot touches, carefully remove the lighting mechanism, replace the old battery with the new one, place it back, and, using hair dryer, blow hot air at the back of the sock lining material where the glue was for a few seconds, then firmly press it back.
